About the Race

After the sun goes down. After the classes and work are done. After everyone kicks their shoes off for the night. We lace up.

On 25 April 2026, the Nike After Dark Tour returns to Shanghai for a celebration of women’s running, community, and self-expression. Inspired by the voices and insights of female runners, this series is designed to bring women to the forefront, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

After hours, Módū ("City of Magic") transforms into a glowing cityscape pushing runners outside of their comfort zone. With its pulsing streets and local flavors at every corner, this is a city that refuses to slow down at night.

Chase the unique fusion of culture and community in a setting that never slows down on this stop of the After Dark Tour.

Where will you start

Entering the night from the Century Plaza on East Nanjing Road and beating to MóDū’s pulse. The course shines through the city alone the famous Huangpu River.

What will you see

Step into the busiest part of the city, East Nanjing Road, and run to the Bund. Run up the Huangpu River with the Shanghai Skyline on the other side. Travel through the Huangpu District and run pass the Nanpu Bridge. Land the trip right next to the 1st-gen Chinese Tracking Ship Yuan Wang #1.

When you finish

Celebrate the finish moment with your fellow runners, recover from the race, and enjoy the party with your families and friends. Music, drink, and more will be available at 689 Ju Men Road.
