THIS RACE DEMANDS EVERYTHING. The Nike After Dark Tour reaches its final stop in London on 23rd November 2025. And we’re bringing you a race like no other. On race day, all athletes will face a 1K qualifier that will determine which of the three 10K races you compete in, as well as your starting position. Then we race on a track designed for speed and endurance, where each 10K will have its own podium to claim. Join us at Excel London for an unforgettable race designed for women. Overlooking the River Thames, east of Canary Wharf, Excel London provides the perfect racetrack for a 10K - the likes of which you’ll never have seen before. By day it’s iconic. By night it becomes your domain. A seamless blend of indoor and covered outdoor spaces designed to handle every condition. Come rain or starlight, the race is on.

THE FORMAT & COURSES

Race through a one-of-a-kind circuit that’s part-indoor, part-outdoor and designed to test endurance, speed, and strategy. Each 10K is run on a multi-lap course, cutting through spaces no one’s ever raced before. Expect energy and speed against the backdrop of the London skyline. Here to win? Enter the 1K Qualifier — a full-tilt sprint on a 100% indoor course. Identical conditions. No variables. Just you and the clock. The faster you run, the closer to the front you’ll start on your 10K grid.

The Nike After Dark Tour is an invitation to all women to celebrate their community through sport and movement. All participants must be 18 years or older on race day and may be required to show proof of age.
The sale and/or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited.
All participants must be familiar with and abide by the Event Rules.
Click here to register from 18 July 2025. Spaces are first come, first served, and the registration window will remain open until capacity is reached. There is no selection process, other than the age and gender eligibility.

No, but we do recommend that you train to run a new PB on the night. The course and conditions are there for the taking!

RACE PACKS

You will collect your race pack (which will include your race bib) from a London location/s in the days leading up to the event. Watch this space for more details.
No race packs will be delivered to your home address.
Athletes must pick up their own race pack and are required to show photo ID that reflects the name they registered under. No exceptions are permitted.

RACE DAY

The races start and finish at Excel London, Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL. Signage will direct you as you approach the venue.

The Qualifier 1K races takes place between 2:00PM and 3:00PM, with check in opening at 1:00PM. Subject to change. We will let you know your start time as part of the information we will share before the event.
You can opt out of running a Qualifier, but this will mean that you won’t be able to start at the front of the 10K grid.
The 10K races take place between 4:00PM and 7:00PM.

The Nike After Dark London Qualifier is run on an indoor A to B course.
The 10K is run on a circular course, made up of multiple laps.

Yes, the course will be certified by England Athletics. The certification number will be posted on the map.

The course is flat apart from one up ramp and one down ramp. Both are 50m long with 5m elevations. The final course elevation profile will be posted on the course map after certification is complete.

All runners will be assigned a 10K race based on their 1k qualifier performance. If you want to jump to the front of the start grid for your race, running in a 1K Qualifier is your chance. The fastest 1K runners will start their 10K ahead of those athletes who didn’t run a Qualifier.

No, the three races have been designed specifically for different paces.

Participants are responsible for arriving at the start times assigned to them. This is particularly important if you choose to take part in a 1K Qualifier. Once a race is closed for entry, late-arriving participants must report to the next open race. Participants must arrive with sufficient time to check in their bags and receive race directions. Late arrivals may, at the organiser’s discretion, be moved to another race or have their registration forfeited.

All bags will be screened prior to entering Excel London. Please allow for extra time to go through screening before your first race.
Avoid placing valuables such as wallets, keys, phones, laptops etc in your bag. The event organisers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

As well as hydration and fuelling stations at the starts and finish, there will be one on the 10K course (approximately halfway round the 2.5K lap).

As well as full medical facilities in the Expotique (near the start/finish), there will be a welfare station on the 10K course (approximately halfway round the 2.5K lap).

Before the race, ensure you fill out the back of your Race Bib with essential details, including emergency contact, allergies, existing medical conditions, and medications you're currently taking. This information is essential for first aid staff in case of an emergency. If you are feeling unwell, have had a fever in the last 48 hours, or experienced diarrhoea, do not attempt to race. If you have any concerns about your health, consult your doctor before the event.

As a brand built by runners, for runners, Nike has always been committed to creating experiences that help athletes overcome obstacles, push beyond their limits, and enjoy the benefits of sport. Nike are committed to providing a positive race experience for all After Dark Tour runners, with this unique experience informed by women’s insights, and designed to bring women runners together, fostering a sense of community, self-expression, and unapologetic self-belief that will leave participants feeling seen, supported, and motivated. Nike have worked closely with the venue to enforce robust operational measures such as road closures, well-lit courses, security teams, emergency services on site, parking logistics and crowd management, so every athlete can perform at their best during the race. Runners are not required to train at night in advance of the After Dark Tour.

There will be awards for the top three finishers in each of the three 10K races. Stay tuned for more details.

Yes, your run(s) will be timed via the chip in your race pack. This must be worn during your races.
Your finish time(s) will appear on our timing partner’s website.
Photos of you in action will also be available online. These won’t be watermarked, so they’ll be perfect for you to download and share.

There are great public transport links to and from Excel London - we recommend you use these if possible.
There is also pre-bookable car parking, details of which are also contained via this link.

Within parts of the race and throughout the post-race concert, there will be flashing lights that may affect some runners. If you are sensitive to light, this event may not be suitable for you. EXPOTIQUE AND POST RACE CELEBRATION

The unique Nike After Dark Tour Expotique is a curated zone where you can recover (after either or both of your runs), get inspired (by us and our amazing partners) and be entertained.
Food and drink concessions will be available for purchase.
You’ll find the Expotique next to the start/finish.

The runners-only post-race party is going to be epic. Watch this space for headliner details.
Earlier in the day, music will also mix into the Expotique...

Your athlete wristband (in your race pack) will provide you access to the races, the Expotique and the after party.

No, access is for runners taking part in Nike After Dark only.

Entertainment and curated post-run services and experiences will be available throughout the event. Food and drink concessions will be available within the Expotique and venue. After finishing your one or two runs, follow the signs and PA instructions which will help you discover some surprise and delight moments throughout your journey.

REGISTRATION & ENTRY

This event is £35 inc. VAT to enter, which includes a 1K Qualifier and a 10K race (or just the 10K if you choose not to run the 1K Qualifier), the Expotique, the after party, the race pack, a very special piece of race jewellery and lots of surprises.

Sale and/or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited and will result in the disqualification and/or banning of any individuals involved from future events.
