After the sun goes down. After classes and homework are finished. After everyone kicks their shoes off for the night. We lace up. On 10 May 2025, the Nike After Dark Tour ignites in Seoul, a celebration of women's running, community and self-expression. Inspired by the voices and insights of female runners, this series is designed to bring women to the forefront, fostering a sense of belonging and connection. Yeouido Park dares runners to do the uncomfortable under a canopy of stars in the vibrant heart of the country's capital. Along the Han River and under the city lights, runners will push themselves with the culture, energy and spirit of the community behind them every step of the way. Race along the illuminated pavements of Yeouido, where every step is a celebration of life and motion.

Your night begins at famous Yeouido Park, where the calculated chaos of the city meets calm, wide-open spaces. It’s a perfect launchpad for Seoulites to start their After Dark journey.

The course

Feel the pulse of Seoul as you cross Seogang Bridge not once but twice over the course of your 10K race. When the sun sets, the city starts to show off—streets humming, lights shimmering, and the Han River catching it all like a mirror.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Participants under the age of 19 are not eligible to participate as they are not covered by event insurance.
  • Registrations using false names or aliases, as well as transferring participation rights after registration, are strictly prohibited due to insurance regulations. Violations, including participation under an alias or the transfer of participation rights, may result in disqualification or restrictions in future events.
  • If the participant and the insured person (applicant) are not the same, no compensation will be provided for any incidents that occur during the event.
  • For insurance purposes, the organizer collects personal information with the participant's consent and may require identity verification as part of the additional procedures set by the insurance provider.
  • Participants are advised to carefully assess their health condition before joining the race.
  • The organizers provide accident insurance for participants and deploy safety personnel and facilities to prevent accidents. Emergency response systems, including ambulances for first aid and transportation, are in place. If you experience any abnormalities during the race, stop immediately and seek assistance from the event staff to use a support vehicle or ambulance.
  • The organizers are responsible only for first aid and coverage within the scope of the insurance policy in case of injuries or accidents during the event.
  • Participants should carefully assess their health condition and, if they experience any discomfort or concerns, seek advice from medical professionals to confirm their ability to safely participate in the race.

  • Registration will be open for approximately three weeks, from 5:00 AM on January 9 to 11:59 PM on January 31.
  • The card information entered during the January registration period will not be charged until the specified date. Payment will only be processed on February 8 for the 7,000 participants selected as final winners.
  • If the payment attempt fails for any reason, the selection will be deemed invalid, and the opportunity will be given to another participant.
  • Final winners will be notified via email and text message on February 8.
  • Information entered during registration, including card details, cannot be modified. If you wish to cancel your application, please contact the event office during the registration period.
  • Winners will be randomly selected, and no additional applications will be accepted after the registration period and winner announcement.
  • Once the selection and payment has been processed, cancellations and refunds will not be permitted. Please register only if you are certain of your ability to participate in the race.

Participants must arrive at the event venue by 5:30 PM. After changing in the changing rooms at Yeouido Park, please store your belongings at the baggage storage area, warm up adequately, and proceed to the starting line. The race will begin at 7:00 PM. (The start time is subject to change.)
  • Changing Rooms and Baggage Storage For participants' convenience, the event office will operate changing rooms and baggage storage facilities. The baggage storage service will be available on the event day from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Participants are advised to allow sufficient time to check in their belongings before the race starts. After completing the race, participants can retrieve their belongings by presenting the baggage claim sticker provided at check-in. (Valuables will not be accepted for storage, and the organizers are not responsible for any loss, as the contents of stored items cannot be verified beforehand.) Recent marathon events have seen frequent incidents of theft involving cash and valuables. Participants are strongly advised to avoid bringing cash or valuables and carry only essential items for the day.
  • Beverage and Snack Provision Bottled water and sports drinks will be provided at the 5K point. After crossing the finish line, all finishers will receive beverages and snacks to replenish their energy.
  • Timing and Record Measurement The timing system measures both Net Time (calculated from the moment you cross the start line) and Gun Time simultaneously. Disposable timing chips will be used for participants' convenience. The chip is attached to the back of the bib number. Please handle the bib with care to ensure the chip is not damaged, as it is essential for recording your race time.
  • Record Confirmation Race results can be checked approximately 1 hour after the event ends via an SMS message sent by the operations office. (If your phone number changes after registration closes, please contact the event office to update your number.)
  • Traffic Control To minimize traffic congestion along the course and reduce inconvenience for drivers, the race duration is limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes from the start time. After the time limit, vehicles will resume traffic along the course. For your safety, participants must board the sweep vehicle or use alternate routes to reach the finish area. If you refuse to board the sweep vehicle or fail to follow the instructions of event staff and continue running, any accidents that occur will be solely the responsibility of the participant. The organizers will not be held liable. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to the time limit.
  • Race Package Delivery Your race bib number and race package will be shipped via courier to the address provided during registration prior to the event. Race packages are scheduled to be dispatched sequentially at the end of April. (Delivery schedules are subject to change.)
  • Bib Number Assignment Participant bib numbers and starting groups will be randomly assigned, regardless of record or performance.
  • Insurance The organizers will provide accident insurance for participants to cover injuries, accidents, and other unforeseen incidents. Safety personnel and ambulances will also be stationed to address potential safety issues. However, the organizers are not responsible for any injuries or accidents beyond emergency measures and compensation within the coverage limits of the insurance policy. Insurance coverage for race participants is as follows:
    • Event Day: Only incidents reported to the operations office on the day of the event are covered.
    • Post-Event: Only incidents reported to the operations office within 3 days after the event are covered.

[TERMS OF USE]

The "After Dark Tour Seoul 10K" is open exclusively to female participants of South Korean nationality who are 19 years of age or older as of the registration date. Applications or participation based on falsified information regarding gender or age will be deemed invalid. Such actions may result in civil and criminal liability for obstructing event operations. By participating in this event, the participant fully and unconditionally agrees to the official rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the program.
The detailed schedule for the "After Dark Tour Seoul 10K" is as follows:
  • Saturday, May 10, 2025, 7:00 PM: Booth operations, race, and performances (Specific timings will be announced later).
Race registration for the "After Dark Tour Seoul 10K" will be open from 5:00 AM on January 9, 2025, to 11:59 PM on January 31, 2025, via the Nike App and Nike.com. Information entered during registration cannot be modified. If you wish to cancel your registration, you must contact the event operation office within the registration period. Please note that completing the registration process does not guarantee participation in the race. Only 7,000 selected participants will receive a separate notification via email and text message.
Final winners will be notified via email and text message on February 8th. Winners will be randomly selected, and no additional applications will be accepted after the registration period and winner announcement.
For the 7,000 selected winners, the payment will be processed on February 8th using the card information entered during the January registration period. If the payment attempt fails for any reason, the selection will be deemed invalid, and the opportunity will be given to another participant. Some information entered during registration, including card details, cannot be individually modified or withdrawn. Additionally, please note that once payment is processed on February 8, cancellations or refunds for race registration will not be accepted.
This session is a marathon event held in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and is open only to those selected through the registration process.
During the session, the event may be recorded, photographed, or filmed, and portions of the footage may be edited and released through media platforms. By participating in the session, participants consent to the use of their names, voices, performances, photos, and likenesses in any current or future form of media or format for advertising, promotions, trade, and/or other purposes without additional compensation, consent, or notice.
Registration for this event requires Nike.com membership verification, agreement to the use of personal information, and consent to the use of likeness rights. The event is subject to change or cancellation depending on weather conditions.
Participants agree that any disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or related to the session or any rewards shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, and exclusively in the Seoul Central District Court.
Personal information collected from participants will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Nike Korea LLC. The Privacy Policy can be viewed here.

[PARTICIPANT WAIVER]

In this "Participant Waiver Form,", the "Event" means the "Event Name: After Dark Tour Seoul 10K' in which the participant is involved, and includes all activities related to the event, such as traveling between event locations, participating in races, product trials, booth participation, training sessions, and any other activities related to the event, as well as the participant’s involvement in the event. In participating in this event, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:

Participation in or attendance at the Event involves certain risks, including but not limited to accidents, personal injury (including death) and damage to or loss of property. These risks may arise from your own actions, nonfeasance, the actions of others, the rules of the event or the condition of the facilities and equipment. In addition, there may be risks that are not immediately apparent or foreseeable. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept all of these risks. Whether or not you are aware of them, you agree that if these risks are caused by the negligence of the Releasees (as defined below) or any third party, you will be solely responsible for the consequences. In the event of an emergency or situation requiring medical attention, you agree to allow local witnesses to make the medical treatment decision.
You also agree to pay all costs associated with such medical treatment and to indemnify and hold harmless the Waiver Parties from any claims or disputes related to such medical treatment.
By participating in the event, you and your heirs, estate managers, insurance companies, successors, and assigns agree to release and hold harmless Nike Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, subcontractors, distributors, agents, contractors, successors, assigns, guarantor, sponsors, volunteers, and any property owners or lessors related to the event (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from any personal injury, disability, death, or property damage or loss. This applies whether caused by your actions or omissions, the actions or omissions of others, the event rules, or the condition of the facilities and equipment, including any negligence on the part of the Indemnified Parties. You agree to take full responsibility for any risks and fully waive any claims or liabilities against the Indemnified Parties permitted by law.
You grant Nike Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, and authorized licensors (collectively “Nike”) the right to capture and use recordings of your image, voice, avatar, name, biological data, silhouette, body measurements, appearance, posture, and any other personal data or event-related materials (collectively referred to as “Records”), including film, photos, and videos. Additionally, you grant Nike the global and perpetual right, without any further compensation, to register copyrights, use, sublicense, or transfer the Records (or any reproductions thereof) in whole or in part, in any media currently existing or developed in the future, regardless of whether they are related to the event. You acknowledge that you have no rights or permissions regarding the editing, recording, or use of your name or Records associated with you. Nike is under no obligation to use the rights you have granted. You further warrant that Nike is not required to obtain approval from or compensate any third party concerning this matter.
You grant Nike the permanent and worldwide right to use any comments, feedback, or suggestions you provide to Nike, without notice, compensation, or approval, for purposes including but not limited to product development, manufacturing, advertising, creating, modifying, and improving products and services.
In the event of a dispute between you and any Indemnified Parties (as defined above), the Seoul Central District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction over the matter unless both parties agree to an alternative jurisdiction.
The organizers will provide accident insurance for participants to cover injuries, accidents, and other unforeseen incidents. Safety personnel and ambulances will also be stationed to address potential safety issues. However, the organizers are not responsible for any injuries or accidents beyond emergency measures and compensation within the coverage limits of the insurance policy. [CONSENT TO USE OF LIKENESS]

Photos, videos and records taken during the event may be used for Nike event-related promotional and marketing purposes. However, participants' likenesses will not be shared with any entity other than those commissioned by Nike, and the use of these materials will be strictly managed for Nike-sponsored event promotion only.

Any disputes, claims, or lawsuits arising from this event must be resolved individually by the participant, and the participant agrees to indemnify Nike from any claims, amounts, expenses, damages, or costs (including legal fees and attorney costs) related to such disputes.
The interpretation, validity, and all matters concerning the rights and obligations of the participant under these terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
